My gear legs have these zerk fittings at the bushings. I don't know if they are original but don't seem to be a bad idea

My next challenge: I need to get that strut mount bolt out and, as you
can see, it won't come out without removing the lower
boot cowl. In fact, somebody in the past damaged the skin by trying
to force it out.
My plan is to make a cutout so the bolt can be replaced and then fabricate
a flush plug patch on a doubler.
I'll probably do it on both sides
The shish-kabob stand I built turned out to be adequate for my needs
With the gear removed this rotational point is nearly perfectly balanced
