I'm getting back into a groove now, fully recovered from that traumatic hernia surgery
followed by six weeks of sitting on my ass watching movies and eating apple turnovers
I put on about ten pounds!
Anyway, we can't have primer green peeking out of the cracks between these highly polished parts
so I figure this will take the edge off of it
The left aileron is just about finished
I mean I 'think' this is the left - correct me if I'm wrong
Well, whichever it is - it's done. I just need to order some new clevis bolts for it and get a couple more #4 screws

Jeeze - another friggin' widow
Slowly, my little makeshift loft is filling with lovely restored and polished parts that will one day come together in a beautiful symphony
Our next door neighbors are moving out and so I picked this thing up for a song
He even threw in a 60 gig hard drive for free
I've been planning to get one anyway to do the panel cutouts
I've got a junk door panel to practice on - even though it's only 0.035, it's close enough for testing purposes
I mainly want to get the flycutter set to make the right sized hole. This is close, maybe a bit small
What do you think?
The beveling tool works okay on this stuff but I'm not sure if it can handle the 0.050 panel
I also need to practice getting the flycutter centered. You can see I didn't do too well here
I don't want to make a mistake like this with that $300 panel!
